As a fellow knitter, I know how frustrating a confusing pattern can be. My goal is to work with you as a dedicated technical editor, ensuring your final instructions do justice to your original design. I focus on refining the layout, verifying the numbers, and streamlining the directions so your pattern is easy to follow from start to finish. This essential step gives your customers a smooth experience and lets them focus on the joy of knitting your design.

  3. Gauge: Confirming clarity and presence of gauge information.
  4. Needles and Notions: Checking accuracy and consistency of needle and notions details.
  5. Abbreviations: Ensuring a comprehensive list of abbreviations is included and consistently applied throughout.
  6. Charts/Pattern Panels: Checking accuracy of charts/pattern panels, including abbreviations.
  7. Grammar and Spelling: Scanning for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors to maintain clarity.
  8. Completeness: Verifying all necessary parts, including assembly instructions, are included.
  9. Image Accuracy: Confirming the accuracy of any included images relative to the pattern.
  10. Mathematical Accuracy: Checking mathematical calculations, such as stitch counts after increases and decreases.
