Knitting has been my constant companion since my mum first taught me to cast on as a child. While I enjoy all types of projects, I have a particular love for the structure of garments—from sweaters and cardigans to the fine detail of lace patterns.

Before becoming a technical editor, I spent fifteen years as a primary school teacher. That experience is the foundation of my editing style; it taught me how to provide feedback that is clear, encouraging, and easy to follow. I view my role as a supportive partner in your creative process, helping you refine your work without losing your unique voice.My move into professional editing allows me to combine my passion for the craft with my love for logical precision. I have always been fascinated by how patterns are constructed, and I find I can easily visualise the final piece while reviewing the written instructions. To ensure my work meets the highest industry standards, I am certified as a Technical Editor by the Knitting Guild Association.

Today, I work with a wide range of international clients as an experienced editor. My expertise covers a variety of garment constructions and technical techniques, including stranded colourwork, complex cables, and delicate lace.
